The Canadian Youth Climate Coalition (CYCC)

Global climate change highlights a basic issue of human rights. Every one of us holds the equal rights to a scarce resource, the atmospheric capacity to absorb greenhouse gases without altering the climatic system (i.e., causing climate change). However, this resource has been disproportionately used around the world. And more importantly, malign effects of climate change have been and will be borne not by the ones who have greedily used this resource but by the ones whose right to it has been largely taken away. Thus, climate change is a matter of justice, and this deserves much more of our attention.

The Canadian Youth Climate Coalition (CYCC) works to tackle the climate crisis, and to bring about more sustainable and just world for our generation and generations to come. Please join us on facebook and follow us on twitter for latest news and events, and be part of our movement!
